STUDIO 1

Website for a construction or renovation company

Clients choose a builder carefully. They want to see finished projects, understand the price and leave an inquiry. The site has to prove you finish the job and do it well.

What a construction company website needs

Why it matters

In construction trust matters most. Clients have heard bad stories and are wary. A portfolio of real projects and honest price ranges set you apart from those with only a phone number.

How clients in Estonia look for a builder

People search for a job and a place: 'bathroom renovation Tallinn', 'roof replacement price', 'turnkey apartment renovation', 'facade insulation Tartu'. A generic 'construction services' page does not answer those, so every type of work needs its own page. Before calling, the client checks the company: Business Register data, the entry in the Register of Economic Activities (MTR) and reviews. They usually compare three or four quotes, and the winner is whoever replies fast and shows a similar finished job.

Apartment associations and business clients search differently: they need references, project sizes and a named contact person.

Page structure for a construction company

Each service gets a page with a price range, the order of works and a typical duration. Projects are more than a photo gallery: each one states the task, what was done, how long it took and in which area. That is how a client finds a job like their own. If you work in several towns or counties, we add area pages. We used the same structure for the home repair site EasyService, with a dedicated landing page for every service and district.

Mistakes that cost a builder inquiries

A gallery of fifty photos without a single caption, so the client cannot tell a garden shed from a full renovation. A contact form with one free-text field, which produces messages like 'how much for a repair?'. No promised reply time, so the client sends the same request to five firms. And finished projects posted only on Facebook, where they sink out of sight within weeks.

Inquiry form, calculator and preparation

A good inquiry form asks for the property type, floor area, location and preferred timing, and lets the client attach photos or drawings. That lets you give a preliminary quote without a first site visit. A calculator gives the client a ballpark and gives you better-qualified inquiries. Requests arrive by email and, if you wish, in your CRM.

What to prepare

  • Photos of 5-10 projects, before and after where possible
  • A list of services with price ranges or unit prices
  • Professional certificates, MTR registration, warranty terms
  • The areas you actually work in

Frequently asked

Is a cost calculator worth it?+

Often yes. A calculator gives the client a ballpark instantly and filters out those without a budget. You get higher-quality inquiries.

Can we add projects ourselves?+

Yes, you add new finished work to the portfolio yourself through a simple panel.

How long does the site take?+

Usually 2-3 weeks. With project photos ready, it goes faster.

Is it worth publishing prices when every project is different?+

Yes, as a range or a unit price, for example per square metre. The client does not expect a final sum, they want to know whether the job fits their budget. Without a ballpark, people whose budget does not match your price level call too.

Do you build separate pages for different towns?+

If you really work in several areas, yes. An area page has to carry local information: projects done there, call-out terms and a contact. Swapping the town name in the same text does not produce results.
