STUDIO 1

Website for a beauty salon

A beauty salon client chooses with their eyes. They want to see your work, pick a stylist and book right away, without a call. The site has to show your level at first glance.

What a beauty salon website needs

Why it matters

Beauty is a visual business. The client decides from photos in seconds. With a strong portfolio and instant booking, the client comes to you instead of somewhere that needs a call and a wait for a reply.

How clients in Estonia find a salon

A salon is found in two ways. The first is Instagram: a client sees a piece of work, opens the profile and taps the link. The second is Google Maps with a query like 'hairdresser Kalamaja' or 'gel nails Tallinn city centre', where district, rating and photos decide. Either way the person lands on the website on a phone and wants three things: what it costs, who does it and when the next free slot is.

An Instagram profile does not replace a site: it has no price list or availability, and Google does not show it for a search by service name.

Page structure for a beauty salon

We split the price list into service groups (hair, nails, lashes and brows, skincare) and put the duration and a booking button next to each service. The gallery filters by service and stylist, because a client looks for work similar to what they want, not a general picture of the salon. Each stylist has a short page: photo, specialty, sample work and their free slots. When someone joins or leaves, you change it yourself.

Where salon sites lose bookings

A gallery full of dark, filtered photos where the actual colour or nail shape cannot be seen. A price list that says 'from' on every line with no upper bound, so the client cannot budget. A booking link that opens a separate app and asks for registration before showing a single free slot. Each of these is a point where a ready client goes back to scrolling.

Booking system, payments and preparation

If you already use a booking platform such as Fresha, we embed its widget so the client books without leaving the site. Gift cards are sold with bank link or card payment through Montonio, and the card arrives by email. An Instagram feed can top up the gallery automatically.

What to prepare

  • A price list with service durations
  • 20-30 photos of your work in good light, grouped by service
  • A photo and short bio of each stylist
  • Salon rules: lateness, cancellation, deposit

Frequently asked

Can booking be tied to specific stylists?+

Yes. The client picks a stylist, service and free slot. Each stylist sees their own bookings.

Can we add to the portfolio ourselves?+

Yes, you add new work yourself. We can also connect Instagram so the gallery updates automatically.

Do you support gift cards?+

We can add gift card sales with online payment, which brings extra income especially before holidays.

Isn't Instagram enough?+

Instagram gets attention, but a price list, free slots and the address are awkward to find there. The website is where the profile link leads and where the client completes the booking. It is also what Google shows for a search by service and district.

Can we take a deposit so clients actually show up?+

Yes. A deposit by bank link or card can be added to the booking. It is mostly used for long, expensive treatments where a no-show means an empty day for the stylist.
